About

Senior Scientist at IIT Delhi – ICMR MedTech innovation gateway. Ex-mechanical (design) engineer at Katerra, Sibel, Tesla, Volkswagen & SPCE Racing. I’ve been a senator & teaching assistant at University of Washington – Seattle and a member of many student bodies at SPCE – University of Mumbai.

I have a keen interest in STEM from a very young age and they are very close to my heart. As a kid, I would love to break stuff apart to find out how things worked. Ever since, I’ve had the opportunity to live in eight cities across South Asia (Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur) and North America (Seattle, Evanston, Mountain View) and work at big/small companies & academic institutions. These experiences have in turn helped me cultivate socio-cultural and professional diversity in thoughts, attitude, and outlook; a part of which I intend to share (eventually!)

I believe that an interdisciplinary knowledge base is the key to solving highly complex problems that are posed in the existing era, and technology is principal to equity, prosperity, and sustainability. I look forward to integrating my skills in the development of meaningful products, services, policies, and frameworks.

In addition, my other interests are in Asian art and culture with a focus on India/Pakistan, Economics, and Political Science. Go to music is mostly Coke Studio, Jal, Strings, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and legendary Gazal and Qawwali singers like Ghulam Ali, Mehndi Hasan, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan among others. I am also an amateur investor and Tabla (percussion instrument) player. I am currently investing & mentoring for early to mid stage tech startups so do reach out.

What’s your story?

PS: If you’re wondering what’s the site logo – it’s a calligraphy of my name in my mother tongue मराठी which is an Indo-European language.
